Clean & Simple Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!! Today, I am sharing some clean and simple valentines I made over the weekend for my son's 4th grade class.

To be honest with you, I was planning to buy a box and be done but Wal-Mart was sold out of valentines on Friday night. The entire aisle was wiped clean!! So we picked up a box of Star Wars Mandalorian fun dip packs and I turned them into valentines by creating simple wrappers.

I started by cutting strips of 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, sized 3.5" x 7". Then on the long side, score at 3.25" and 6.5". These wrap neatly around the packages which are stapled at the top to be secure.

Using my Misti, I stamped the coordinating sentiments from the following Lawn Fawn sets: You're Just My Type, Love Poems, and Special Delivery Box Add-On. On the back, I used sentiments from the Say What? Pets stamp set.

The typewriter and lamp were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with coordinating dies. I colored them with Copics and popped them up with foam tape.

I don't know if  my son's 10-year-old friends will appreciate these but I do think they turned out super cute!! And they were fairly easy to create!

Thanks for stopping by!
