Sending Lots of Love -- #LFCreateWithUs
Hi, friends!! Today, I am sharing a cute card that I made yesterday during Lawn Fawn's most recent Create with Us free card class on Facebook. This was my first time participating and if you missed out on the fun, you can always check out the replay. I didn't have any of the new supplies, so I created this card using what I had in my stash.
I used the Happy Hugs stamp set for my main image and a sentiment from the Special Delivery stamp set. The stencil and heart bubble die cuts are from My Favorite Things. I also used Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina, and Villainous Potions distress oxide inks for my ink blending.
For the sparkly grounding effect, I sprinkled Glitter Ritz microfine glitter over a glob of Bearly Art Glue and let it dry really well. I have several jars of Glitter Ritz (in all kinds of colors) that often gets overlooked in my stash so it felt good to use it. The glitter adds a nice touch of texture as well.
One of my greatest tips and takeaways from the class was using a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol instead of water to clean your stencils and work surface. Jenn shared that the alcohol dries almost immediately so clean-up is quick and you don't have to worry about your supplies or card project getting wet in the process. It really does work!!
I highly recommend Jenn's classes and it's awesome that Lawn Fawn is offering these crafty sessions for free on Facebook Live. You definitely need to play along the next time they offer one. #LFCreateWithUs
That's all for me today. Thanks for stopping by!!
