Love Poems

Hello, friends!! Over the next few days, I hope to share some of the last minute Valentine's Day cards I created this year. This is the slimline card I made for my husband using Love Poems from Lawn Fawn.

The mice and tiny hearts are colored with Copics. For the center mouse, I added a tiny die cut heart from MFT Stamps that is popped up with foam tape. I accidentally attached the background heart panel too low on the gray scalloped panel... but that mistake gave me just the right clearance on the top to add a coordinating sentiment. I love how mistakes can make a design even better!!

Each little mouse panel is also popped up with foam tape to add dimension. The pink dotty paper is from Lawn Fawn and the solid cardstock is from MFT Stamps. I also used the Scalloped Slimeline with Hearts: Landscape die from Lawn Fawn to create the heart panel.

Thanks for stopping by!!
