Winter Scene Wrapped in Love
Hello, crafty friends!! Where has the time gone? I can't believe it's the end of January already! We've had a very mild winter here in Virginia this year, and now they are calling for us to to get 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow. By the end of next week, we should have spring like temps again too. Our flowering shrubs, trees, and daffodils are budding and they don't know what end is up!
Today, I am finally sharing a card I made over the holidays using some of my newer products from My Favorite Things. They also just introduced a new slimline challenge series and this card certainly fit the bill!
I used the Wonderful Woods stamp set for the layered tree background and added a sentiment and the snowman from BB Present Time. The image is colored with Copics.
Scarf & Ribbon: YG11, YG13, YG17
Bag: E50, E53, E55
Snowman: C0, C1, C7, YR 16
The trees were stamped in the following inks: Jellybean (SSS), Bamboo (ALT), Gumdrop Green (MFT), Timber Green (MFT), and Elf Green (MFT). To finish off the card, I added Spectrum Noir crystal clear sparkle pen to the snowman's scarf and the tie on the bag.
I hope over the new few weeks I can get caught up on sharing the many cards I have made since December. Stay tuned for more creative inspiration to come!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
