Acorn House

Hello friends!! Today I have a fun card using mostly die cuts from the new Acorn House set from Lawn Fawn. I thought this was the perfect card to enter into their current Awesome Autumn challenge too.

I used Lawn Fawn papers for the background and grass. The acorn house is die cut from kraft cardstock and ink blended with Tea Dye distress ink. The steps are ink blended with Iced Spruce distress oxide ink. The other elements are die cut from various solid cardstock from my stash. Don't you just love the stitched texture on that acorn cap???

The little squirrel and pile of nuts were leftover pieces I had from another card using the Let's Go Nuts stamp set. They are colored with Copics and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut. The sentiment is from Wavy Sayings and die cut with the coordinating Fancy Wavy Banners.

To add a little sparkle, I added diamond stickles to the edge of the grass and clear shimmer pen to the leaves and vine accent. I also used the Let's Go Nuts stamp set to create the inside sentiment and added a few leftover leaves to the edges.

I hope this card brings you joy, especially with the cooler temps we are experiencing here in Virginia. Now we just need the leaves to start changing to fully embrace this beautiful season!
