Batty 4 U
Hello, friends! Today, I have a fun slimline card to share using the new image -- Batty 4 U -- from Tiddly Inks. You can find the digital image here in the shop. I started by printing the image on white cardstock and die cutting it out with my small lift the flaps slimline die set from Lawn Fawn.
There is a really cute digital paper that comes with the image so I lined the window of the interactive flap with the paper. I colored the image with Copics to match.
When you open the flap, I heat embossed a sentiment with silver embossing powder. I also added the negative die cut heart to the inside with foam tape.
So I decided to color up this image because a few weeks ago, we found baby bats (see image above) in our driveway that had fallen out of a tree. Unfortunately Mom died in the fall, but all four babies survived. They were SO TINY and CUTE! We found them on a Friday evening after all local and state agencies had closed, so I called the emergency vet and found out that they partner with a local wildlife rescue organization. My daughter and I dropped them off at the vet so they could be transferred to the bat rehabilitators. We're keeping fingers crossed that they all survived the ordeal.
If you have a kind heart for baby bats, you need to add this image to your digital library. It's super cute and the digital papers are a bonus! Thanks for stopping by!!
