Inspired by " The Secret Life of Pets"
Hello, crafty friends!! Today, I have a fun card to share for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge using the new magic iris and add-on dies. Challenge #72 wants us to create something that is inspired by a book, movie, or song. So I am using The Secret Life of Pets movie for inspiration today.
I combined Lawn Fawn stamps and dies from the Say What? Pets, Critter Chatter Pets, and speech bubbles from the Say What? Christmas Critters sets. To finish off the scene, I pulled out my distress inks with a few other dies and a stencil from my stash.
The magic iris interactive element is the star of the show! This die is genius and surprisingly simple to assemble. When you pull the tab, a kitty cat is revealed.
Copics: Cat: W5, W3, W1, R22 Dog: E55, E53, E50, E35, E33, E31, W7 |
When you open the card up, you can see the bird translating the happy birthday message from all of the pets.
Copics: BG49, BG45, YR02, Y02, C5, C3 |
Distress Inks: Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet, and Dusty Concord |
This was such a fun card to put together. When my kids saw this card, they immediately asked me to make more cards like this for them. So you will definitely be seeing more magic iris cards on the blog soon.
Thanks for stopping by!!
