Beach Boy

Hello, friends! Today I have two fun projects to share using the Beach Boy digital image from Tiddly Inks. We have two children that we sponsor in El Salvador through Compassion International. Kelvin shares the same birthday with my son, but he is 4 years younger. We also have a binder where we keep all of the letters sent and received to our kids in El Salvador. I've been wanting for a while now to create a divider page for Kelvin. While I was at it, I also created a similar birthday card for my hubby.

I started with two copies of the image printed on white cardstock. I masked each image and blended on distress oxide inks to create the sunset background. Once the sky was done, I colored the images with Copics. For the birthday card, I layered the piece against navy cardstock, added a sentiment strip, and attached it to sand shimmer cardstock (Curious Metallics) from my stash.
