Have a Beary Good Birthday

Hello, friends!! Today, I am highlighting the Ricky Winter Lights image from Tiddly Inks on a birthday card that I made for my son's friend. As you may have already heard, Christy moved an assortment of images over to her Etsy shop and closed down the main shop site towards the end of December. Fortunately, you can still get your hands on this adorable image!!

The dimensions of this slimline card are 3.5" x 8.5". I printed the image on my laser jet printer, colored it with Copics and die cut the white panel using my new stitched card panels and windows slimline dies from Trinity stamps.

I ended up ink blending along the edges because my E07 marker accidentally bled onto the cardstock and I didn't notice the mark until after I die cut the white panel. A little bit of tea dye, vintage photo, and black soot distress oxide inks took care of hiding that little blemish. Whew!!

Fox: E09, E07, E13; Skin & Hair: E55, E53, E11, E21, E00
Bear: C3, C1, C0, C00; Clothes: E79, E77, E74, B39, B37, B34

Here's a close-up of the image colored with Copics. I also added a little C1 highlights to the iceberg die cuts and layers those up with scor-tape and foam tape.

Some additional ink blending and a couple icebergs finish off the inside panel of the card.

Well, that's it for me today. I hope everyone carves out a little time to get crafty this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!!
