Welcome Home Baby Girls
Hello, friends! Today, I have a fun interactive card that I created for some friends of ours who also used to be our next door neighbors. They are expanding their family of three with twin girls this week. Wow, how exciting is that!?!?!?!
For the card front, I used my Bitty Bungalows, Welcome Wagon, and Little Bundle stamp sets and coordinating dies with the Double Slider Surprise to create a scene. When you pull on the side tabs, you get the following surprise:
The patterned cardstock inspired me to create a clothes line strung between two trees. The sentiment when expanded reads, "Welcome home! Baby girls (and more laundry) are here." Haha!! Isn't that the truth, when you are expecting twins!
I mounted the slider with foam tape to an A2 card base and added coordinating paper and a sentiment from Bold Buzzwords on the inside.
Hopefully, our friends will enjoy receiving this card when they get home from the hospital later this week - and just in time for Thanksgiving. We can't wait to meet the new arrivals!
