Merry Everything | Jingle All the Way
Hello! Did you know that Christmas is only 6 weeks away? As I am writing this, we have 44 days to be exact. I found some time this weekend to get a jump start on my Christmas cards.
With multiples to create, I kept them simple using the BB Jingle All the Way stamp set from My Favorite Things. For the first version, I was inspired by this card @ Sweet Kobylkin.
I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it out with scissors. I stamped the HO3 sentiment directly onto the card base in cherry crisp and elf green hybrid inks. The "merry everything" sentiment is white heat embossed on field day cardstock, die cut with my stitched sentiment strips and secured with scor-tape. Santa is jumping for joy and mounted with foam tape for dimension. I couldn't resist adding some diamond stickles to his hat for a little bit of bling.
For my second design, I used many of the same products except I added a white layer die cut with skinny vertical stripes. This time, I left a little white border around the image so he would pop against the backdrop. Here's what the inside looks like...
I do hope these cards get you into the holiday spirit. It feels good to get a head start as I have many more Christmas cards to go...
Thanks for stopping by.
