Salty Kisses and Starfish Wishes
Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing some Paper Nest Dolls inspiration, using Emma with Starfish from the new summer collection. You can purchase this stamp as a digital download or as a red rubber cling stamp. I used the digital download for this card.
I started by coloring the image with Copics and fussy cutting it with scissors. I created the watercolor background and stamped embellishments with distress oxide inks (fossilized amber, wild honey, spiced marmalade, peacock feathers, and candied apple) on my water media mat.
The computer-generated sentiment is also inked up with peacock feathers distress oxide ink and popped up with foam tape. This card will be used as a get well card for my niece who recently broke her wrist. I hope the vibrant colors and summer theme help to brighten her day.
The inside computer generated sentiment says, "for a speedy recovery".
I hope you enjoyed today's design. I look forward to sharing more creative inspiration with you next month!
