Paper Nest Dolls | Tower Princess
Hi, everyone! I'm excited to announce that I am now designing for Paper Nest Dolls. I've really enjoyed guesting with Christine these last couple of months and I was honored when she asked me to join the team.
This month, we are showcasing the newly released and utterly adorable fairytales collection.
I've decided to use Tower Princess for today's project. You can purchase this stamp as a digital download or as a red rubber cling stamp. I used the digital download for this project.
Copics:
Skin - E00, E21, E11, E04
Hair - E50, Y11, Y23
Chameleon - YG03, YG17
Dress - V000, V01, V04, V06, R81, R83
Banners - R83, V06
I colored the image with Copics. The tower background was ink-blended with iced spruce, black soot, and peeled paint distress oxides for a mossy weathered look. The vines were stamped directly onto the card base with twisted citron and peeled paint distress oxides. The stitched sides of the tower, the grassy hillside, and the image are all popped up with foam tape.
To finish off the card front, I added two banners (colored with coordinating Copics) with matching jewels and a final coat of sparkle shimmer pen to the princess's crown.
I hope you enjoyed today's design. I look forward to sharing more creative inspiration with you all on April 23rd!
