Prayers and Love

Hi, everyone! I have a quick card to share today featuring the new image, Be My Valentine, from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps.

I printed the image on a large scale so that the flowers would take up most of the card front. I was planning to use the bird as well, but plans changed when I needed to send a sympathy card to a family friend. After coloring up the flowers with Copics in soft shades of pinks and purples, I thought only using the flowers would be perfect.

I would have never thought taking this image...

...would turn into this:

But I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

I die cut the word prayers multiple times and glue them together for dimension and coated the top layer with Spectrum Noir clear shimmer sparkle pen and glossy accents. I also heat embossed a secondary sentiment in white on a black strip of cardstock. The floral panel is also mounted to the card base with white craft foam for added stability during mailing.

So now it's your turn to go get your hands on this new release image... the possibilities are endless when you think outside the box.

Thanks for stopping by!
