You Can Do It Sassy

Hi, everyone! Today I am showcasing a new EXCLUSIVE image called Sassy by All Dressed Up Digital Stamps. They are sponsoring an event over at Kit and Clowder -- make sure to go check it out!! Go and grab this freebie fast because you can't get it anywhere else!

I thought it would be cool to add Sassy off to the side on an A2 top-folding card base. The coordinating foiled cardstock from my stash inspired me to use a purple-pink and black color combo. I also love how soft and "airy" her dress looks in this image.

The image is colored with the following Copics:

Skin - E000/00/21/11/04
Hair/Bow - W3/5/7 + W00/1 (for hair)
Dress - RV000/63/66

It took a while but I finally decided to add a word die and an uplifting sentiment to the front from the Simon Says Stamps You Matter stamp set. This stamp set was designed by Laura Bassen, one of my all-time favorite designers.

I layered the die cut multiple times before dosing it with clear shimmer sparkle pen and glossy accents. I love how the delicate font style of the "you" seems to compliment the design without taking away from the image or the foiled cardstock.

This was a fun design to create and I look forward to sharing this encouragement card with someone very soon!

Go dust off your markers or pencils and have a wonderful crafty day!!

  1. Hi Jen, This card is so sweet... and so cool at the same time. Wow! I love your fun design. Think I might just have to CASE it because I love how you featured that Laura Bassen sentiment. She is one of my favorites, too, and I just love that stamp set. Thanks for a great design idea and for sharing with us at Words 2 Craft By. :)
