Tiddly Inks Challenge #208: Be Merry

Hello! Our last challenge of 2017 begins today over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

Challenge #208 : Be Merry!

My sister and I are big fans of Elf on the Shelf so I decided to combine Cute and Clumsy Elves with Elf Delivery Service to create a framed piece of art. I gave it to my sister as an early Christmas present at Thanksgiving so she could use it with her holiday decorations this year.

The image is sized to 5" x 7" and colored with Copics. Since I couldn't find a red mat for the 8" x 10" picture frame, I decided to repurpose a cream one that I had and colored it with my R29 marker. That way, it definitely matched!! To hide some of the marker lines, I also covered the mat with my Spectrum Noir Shimmer Sparkle pen. It's absolutely gorgeous in person!

Here's a close-up so you can see the shimmer on the mat, as well as on the ribbons and the solid elf hat. The sentiment was created with a computer generated font.
