Baseball Scottie and Tipsy Mouse at Muddy Boots Vineyards

Hi, everyone!! I have some exciting news today! I am honored to be joining Digital Delights by Louby Loo as a guest designer. They have such fabulous images, it was hard to pick just one.

My first card uses the Baseball Scottie digital image. My nephew plays on a Little League team so I used Baseball Scottie colored up in his team colors for his 4th birthday card.

I meant to color the three boys differently to represent other players on the team, but I forgot about this halfway through. The boy in the front is sized slightly larger than the others, fussy cut with scissors and popped up with a mini action spring wobble.

You can see the mini action spring wobble in action here.

The images are colored with Copics and the sentiment on the front is computer generated.

My second card uses Tipsy Mouse for my sister's birthday that was just a few days ago. She lives on a farm and they recently planted grapes in hope of making wine one day. During their "grape planting party" they nicknamed their place "Muddy Boots Vineyards" so when I saw Tipsy Mouse, I knew this would be the perfect image to use for her card.

Using my Mama Elephant Calli Letters stamp set, I personalized the inside sentiment. To make sure everything was centered, I first stamped the words on scrap paper and used a light box for the final stamping.

I created the background with distress inks on watercolor cardstock using the smooshing technique. The image is colored with Copics and then die cut with my deckled rectangle dies. The framing layer is colored with Copics to match the wine. The image panel is popped up with foam tape.

I didn't want the sentiment to take away from the image focal point, so I added a thin strip towards the bottom and a layered word die, both heat embossed in liquid platinum. A matching bow in satin checkerboard ribbon also adds another feminine touch.

It's hard to see in the photos, but the background is also spritzed with Sparkle Clear Shimmer Mist. It really shimmers in person.

Well, I really enjoyed being a guest designer this month for Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Thanks for stopping by!!
