Keep Fighting Lou!

Hi, everyone! Today over at Tiddly Inks, we are showcasing a new image that Christy created as a surprise for our awesome design team coordinator, Lou Daubney. Lou is an amazing woman who is determined to punch breast cancer in the face. Her positive outlook and enthusiastic attitude is an inspiration for all of us! This new image is called Fight Like a Girl and it will be available today in the Tiddly Inks Shop as a freebie.



I'm also following the current Mojo Monday sketch for my design.

How to Make This Card:

  1. Color image with Copics, trim with stitched scalloped rectangle dies, stamp sentiment in coordinating ink. I used Perfect Plum dye ink by Stampin' Up.
  2. Begin with a purple A2 top-folding card base. I used Perfect Plum cardstock by Stampin' Up.
  3. Trim a piece of watercolor cardstock down to 3" x 5.5" and apply Zig markers direct to paper.
  4. Spritz lightly with water in a mini mister bottle to activate the ink; finish off with sparkle sheer shimmer spritz. Allow to dry. 
  5. Position watercolor cardstock vertically and randomly tear off the top and bottom sections to create a jagged edge. Secure directly to A2 card base with adhesive.
  6. Wrap twine around image and secure ends with adhesive along the back side. Apply foam tape and attach image to the card base.
  7. Embellish image with lavender Stickles.
