Tiddly Inks: Hope Your Christmas is a Hoot

Hi, everyone! Today is Fabby Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and my card features the lovely Owlways Love You digital stamp. This was a Christmas card that I made for my teenager niece who happens to love owls. I love how with the right sentiment, you can take a normal everyday image and use it for another occasion.

After coloring the image with Copics, I used my stitched rectangle frames to cut out the interior section which is then popped up with a piece of craft foam. If you look closely at the hearts, leaves, and tree branch, the image flows over onto the recessed stitched frame.

I trimmed down my tag to create a smaller gift card pocket for the inside of the card and mounted it vertically so there would be space to write a handwritten note.
