Delivering a Big Birthday Wish

Hi everyone!! This week I stretched my masculine card marking skills by crafting two different cards using the same stamp set from Taylored Expressions. First off is a birthday card for my dear dad who is celebrating his special day today.

I started by coloring the pickup truck from the Big Delivery stamp set with my Copics. This is a great little set because it includes the coordinating die and has lots of cargo options.

To create the wooden plank backdrop, I inked up my IO background stamp with distress inks and cut a frame using my deckled rectangles dies. That piece is secured to the card front with double-sided tape and craft foam for added stability.

To finish off the card, I added some brown satin ribbon and glossy accents to the truck's windows and chrome accents.

I also used the cupcake cargo option and a coordinating sentiment from the set for the card interior.
