Bake Me Up Birthday Card

Hi, everyone! Today is Fabby Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and my card features the lovely Bake Me Some Love digital stamp.

The design for this card really evolved over the few hours I had to work with. I started out thinking I would use the oval die cut piece that was stamped with the diagonal stripes but in the end, I used the negative. The striped frame is popped up with foam tape which also allowed me to add the die cut balloon between the layers. I love how it comes off the edge too!!

Wryn is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and also popped up with foam tape in places. I strategically placed the foam tape to help secure the twine balloon string.

I blended cracked pistachio and evergreen bough distress ink onto the birthday flag to coordinate with Wryn's leggings. It's hard to see in the photo but the flag also has a dusting of sheer sparkle spritz on top.

Remember, you can see more projects created from the design team on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. It's time to get crafty this weekend! Thanks for stopping by!!
