Happiness is Contagious
Hi, everyone! It's Fabby Friday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and today I am sharing another card using the Hello Pet digi because I'm in love with this little dragon.
I started out by using my Zig markers on watercolor cardstock for the background layer. Once it was dry, I mounted that to a cherry cobbler card base.
The dragon is colored with Copics and then cut using my diagonal stitched squares. This was flat mounted to a scalloped square panel cut from striped cardstock in coordinating colors and then popped up with foam tape.
Here is the inside of the card. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of scrap cardstock in coordinating cherry cobbler dye ink.
My daughter really loved this card - I'm pretty sure it was the little pink flower embellishments, and not my coloring that caught her attention - so I ended up putting it in her lunch box on the first day of school. I recycled a plain white envelope by adding her name to a stitched rectangle die cut.
Need more Tiddly Inks inspiration? The design team really knocked it out of the park so be sure to check out all of the other projects! Please also remember to share your makes on the Tiddly Inks Facebook Fan Page so we can all drool over your gorgeous creations.
