Skater Boy

Hi, everyone! It's Fabby Friday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and today I am sharing a card using Sk8tr boy. He's just too cool with his skateboard and backpack flung over his shoulder.

I colored him with Copics and added a stamped sentiment to the card front. Kept it clean and simple. Would you ever know that this card was flawed in any way?
So here I thought I was done with my card when I realized I made an ink smudge after stamping the sentiment. Here's a quick shot:

I know we've all done it at one time or another, but it made me mad. I couldn't toss it in the trash so that's when I got creative and changed the design. That ink smudge had to go, so I removed it by adding the stitched star element. Whew! That was a close one!!

The white stitched panel is secured to a blue card base and the yellow star is colored with Copics to coordinate with the boy and popped up with foam tape. I kept the sentiment neutral so it could be used as a birthday card for a little guy or a boost of encouragement for someone in need.

Don't forget to checkout the other Fabby Friday projects made by the rest of the design team. We can't wait to see how you are inspired with your Tiddly Inks this weekend. Don't forget to share them on the Tiddly Inks Facebook Fan Page.

Thanks for stopping by!!
