Skater Boy
Hi, everyone! It's Fabby Friday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and today I am sharing a card using Sk8tr boy. He's just too cool with his skateboard and backpack flung over his shoulder.
I colored him with Copics and added a stamped sentiment to the card front. Kept it clean and simple. Would you ever know that this card was flawed in any way?
I know we've all done it at one time or another, but it made me mad. I couldn't toss it in the trash so that's when I got creative and changed the design. That ink smudge had to go, so I removed it by adding the stitched star element. Whew! That was a close one!!
The white stitched panel is secured to a blue card base and the yellow star is colored with Copics to coordinate with the boy and popped up with foam tape. I kept the sentiment neutral so it could be used as a birthday card for a little guy or a boost of encouragement for someone in need.

So here I thought I was done with my card when I realized I made an ink smudge after stamping the sentiment. Here's a quick shot:
