MFT Card Design Superstar Challenge
Today, I have an adorable shaker card to share with you using my very limited supply of My Favorite Things stamps and dynamics in hopes that I may also be considered for their 2016 Card Design Superstar challenge.
I started by stamping the sketched blooms onto watercolor cardstock using Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, and Picked Raspberry distress inks. Then I die cut that piece with the dynamics stitched cover-up companion - diagonal die. This created the basis for my shaker card.
I got so carried away with those sketched blooms that I forgot to stamp a sentiment on the front before putting the shaker element together. That mistake actually allows this card to be used for any joyful occasion - be it a birthday, an anniversary, or just a happy pick-me-up for someone who needs some encouragement along the way.
I colored the adorable elephant with a couple of balloons from the set with Copics before adding them to the front left corner with foam tape. I am so thankful to have finally purchased the coordinating dynamics for this stamp set. They certainly made cutting out those balloons and flowers such a breeze!
Well, I hope you enjoyed viewing this card as much as I enjoyed making it! I do LOVE my MFT supplies and if I am selected as one of the 2016 Card Design Superstars, I definitely have several new items waiting to be purchased on my wishlist.
Thanks for stopping by!
