Summer Fun - AKA Flip Flop Season

Hi, everyone! Today we are kicking off a new challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog - this time, we want you to woo us with Summer Fun themed projects - so get out your flip flops and let's get crafty!

Summer has finally arrived here in Virginia and with a vengeance -- we're talking 106+ degrees F lately with the heat index. For my make, Molly Swims is headed straight to the beach with her flip flops and floatie.

I couldn't resist using some bright Mama Elephant pigment inks on this card. Double stamping the flip-flop sentiment with my Misti made it really easy to get bold, bright coverage.

Here are the Copics I used on Molly:

And here's another close-up, so you can also see the glossy accents on the sunglasses:

If you're looking for more Summer Fun designs, checkout the other makes by the design team this week. Don't forget to link up your own project so you have a chance to win a store credit at the Tiddly Inks shop.

Thanks for stopping by!! Stay cool!!

  1. Omg....that's quite the temps you've been having! You should head back up here...we've been around 25ºC so just about perfect.

Fabulous card! Your stamped background looks splendid!
