Graceful and Grateful Graduates

Hi, everyone! Thank goodness it's Fabby Friday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog - the design team and I are featuring some of Christy's newest images in hopes of providing you with some crafty inspiration this weekend.

I used the new Graceful Graduates and Grateful Graduates images for these set of cards. The chalkboard pattern is actually a digital paper that is included with the School Boy image, sized to 4" x 4" and printed on my laser printer.

The his and her graduates are colored with Copics.

To coordinate with the robes, I blended distress inks (barn door/picked raspberry & shaded lilac/chipped sapphire) onto white cardstock before stamping the notebook paper and sentiment. A short black flag on the opposing side seems to not only draw your attention to the sentiment but helps to balance out the card.

If you're looking for more inspiration, checkout the other Fabby Friday projects made by the rest of the design team. We hope you have lots of time to get crafty this weekend.

Thanks for stopping by!!
