Flower Mini Take #2

Hi everyone! Hooray! It's Friday!! My Tiddly Inks inspiration for the weekend is another birthday card using the watercolor lifting and heat embossing technique shared by Jennifer McGuire. I enjoyed making these cards so much that I made two - this time using Windsor Newton watercolor tubes and the Curtis background stamp for the happy panel.

I layered the happy panel with two more die cut layers of Neenah Solar White #110 cardstock before securing it to the card base. Flower mini is colored up with Copics and secured to the panel with glossy accents. To change up the happy birthday sentiment, I used my Lawn Fawn scripty sayings stamp set and stamped it in SU Calypso Coral dye ink.



I mailed this card to my Aunt Rita who is a fellow papercrafter in Jersey. She appreciates all things handmade and I hope it brought some joy to her special day. Here's another close up:
