Tiddly Inks Challenge - Anything Goes!
Hi, everyone! It's a very happy Tuesday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog today as we kick off another challenge! This time, anything goes!! My card features one of the latest new release images - Elfy Holidays.
My layout was inspired by this MFT sketch. To create the zig zag wedges, I masked off each section with post-it note tape and blended on fresh mint pigment ink from Mama Elephant.
Since the image itself was so large, I didn't have much room for a sentiment. Instead of leaving one off, I decided to add one to the background and repeat it across the bottom so you could tell what it says.
I'm really happy with the way it turned out! For interest, I added a mini jingle bell to the end of the cap and glossy accents to the ornaments and to the tips of each boot.
Thanks for stopping by!!

For a fun inside sentiment, I played around with my Ellen Hutson Merry & Bright by Julie stamp set. Using my Misti, I first stamped the holly leaves in Wild Wasabi (SU), followed by the berries and "Christmas" in Cherry Cobbler (SU), and finally the "wishing you..." in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I do hope these new releases have inspired you to get a jump start on your holiday cards. Don't forget to checkout the other DT makes and come play along with us too!!

Fantastic card! I love how you solved the sentiment issue - very creative!
