Gone Fishing

Happy Father's Day to all of you dads, grandfathers, and male father-figures out there. Today is your special day! I hope you get to enjoy it doing something you love. This is the card I made for my brother-in-law because he is a fisherman at heart.

My sister asked me to make it for her and the boys. Fortunately, I found an awesome cut file in the Silhouette Design Store. It included all of the design elements shown above. To add dimension to the sentiment, I die cut the word "gone" three times and layered them together. 

After I took these photos, I decided to add glossy accents to the word "gone" and also to the worms. It makes them look wet and slimy.

Tomorrow, I'll share the cards I made for my hubby and father-in-law. For once we had an opportunity to spend Father's Day in Canada with my hubby's side of the family. Do you have special plans with your dad or hubby today?
