Watercolor Wonder
Hi everyone! These last few weeks have been crazy with the back-to-back snow storms and missed days of school. Believe it or not, I have been busy making birthday invitations and greeting cards but I just haven't found the time to put them up on the blog. I promise to share them all very soon.
I finally purchased my first package of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock. I've been wanting to try it out for some time and finally bit the bullet when I saw Kristina Werner's card here.
Talk about lots of fun, using my distress inks for this technique! My daughter even made this birthday card for her friend, Evie.
And here are a few more that I made:
I stamped the sentiments in Versamark ink and then heat embossed them in white. Both top panels are secured with foam tape.
If you haven't tried water coloring with distress inks, you should definitely try it. Every creation is unique and the technique is fool-proof!
Thanks for stopping by!!
