Love Never Melts - Paper Smooches Guest Design Team Call

Hi everyone!! I've been on a roll this weekend playing with my Paper Smooches stamps and dies! This time I used the Cool Dudes stamp set and coordinating dies for my second entry in the Paper Smooches February Guest Design Team Call. You can also see my first entry here.

Cool Dudes

I was first inspired by this card on Glitter Me Silly. The stenciled rays beaming down on the snow couple seemed to go hand-in-hand with the sentiment. Can you tell that I extended the rays further down onto the card by repositioning the stencil? Masking off the adjacent rays kept the design clean so it looks like it was meant to be that way.

I really love how this design turned out! The pigment inks (buttercup and piggy bank) blended so nicely together. I didn't want the rays to overpower the softer colors of the snow people, however, I couldn't resist adding a few strands of bright pink twine to make the card pop!
