Tiddly Inks Challenge - Winter Blues

Hi, everyone!! Today we are kicking off our last challenge of 2014 over at Tiddly Inks - can you believe that?? Time sure does fly when you're having fun! For this challenge, we can't wait to see your cool winter blue color-inspired creations.

Here's my make using the lovely Cocoa Wishes digital image.

Cocoa Wishes
This card is 5x7 inches to compensate for the large stitched circle mat and the pop-up petal flower that I cut on my new Silhouette Cameo. Let's just say it's an early birthday/Christmas present and I couldn't hold out until next week to open it up. I have a lot to learn but I'm hoping to whip up a few more Christmas presents with it -- I'll be experimenting with vinyl for the first time -- between now and the big day.

Anywho... back to my challenge project. I added a blue sequin with a light blue rhinestone to the center of the flower and faux gel pen stitches to the perimeter of the navy card base.

If you need a little more inspiration for the theme of this challenge, you can see all of the other projects made by the design team here. Don't forget to link up your creation and share it on Facebook too so we can all leave you a little love. We can't wait to see what you come up with!!

  1. Pretty! Love the sentiment you pair with it. Have fun with your Silhouette, I love mine. You'll never have to fussy cut a digi again - woo hoo! :-)
