Tiddly Inks: Remembrance Challenge

Hi, everyone! We are jump-starting the day with a new challenge in honor of Veteran's Day and Remembrance Day over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. My card is in honor of my Dad who served in the U.S. Navy and also in the Vietnam War. He is now semi-retired from Yorktown Naval Weapons Station when he's not working there as a contract civilian employee.

I used Tiddly Ink's Patriotic Wryn digital image with a sentiment from Verve's American Hero set.

The sentiment and variety of stars are heat-embossed with white, sparkle, clear, and silver embossing powders. Stickles add a little glitter to the sparkler and clip in Wryn's hair. The faux stitching in white gel pen mimics the stitched circle mat and stars.
