Skatin' By to Say Merry Christmas
Hi, everyone! It's Fabby Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and you know what that means...the design team has some fabulous inspiration to kick start the wonderful weekend ahead.
Here's my card. I'm slowly but surely starting my holiday card collection for 2014.
Today I'm using Skater Wryn with a wintery blue and purple color combo. After all, while I'm preparing this post, the temperature here in Virginia is supposed to drop 30+ degrees overnight! Thank you, Polar Vortex!
I used Tumbled Glass distress ink to create a cloudy backdrop and added some spare die cut snowflakes to give the card texture and dimension. Wryn is also popped up with dimensionals. The two-part sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry dye ink and Powdered Sugar pigment ink that was then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also added a few faux stitches with a white gel pen along the perimeter.
Hopefully, this wintery project gets you in the mood to start working on your holiday card collection. The countdown to Christmas is on! Only four Fridays left after today until December 25th!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to checkout what the other ladies on the design team have in store for you today!!
