Spooky Cat Tiddly Inks Challenge
Hi, everyone! We are back today with a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. This time, the design team and I want to inspire you to make a Halloween-inspired project that incorporates the color black or a cat image. Here's my take on the challenge using Cat Love Fever.
Starting with a burgundy card base, I layered two orange word bubble die cuts at the top. The cats are colored with Copics... two are supposed to be a warmer shade of black. I stepped out of my comfort zone and "stretched" my markers on the larger cat. What do you think of that color combo?
I added a strip of glitter washi tape to ground the larger image and popped up the cats on the card front with dimensionals. A white heat-embossed sentiment really pops on the dark cardstock.
Here's a close-up:
So what are you waiting for? We look forward to seeing how you're inspired by this challenge. Don't forget to link up your project and share it on the Tiddly Inks Facebook page.
