Frozen Birthday Wishes
Hi, everyone! If you've seen the Disney movie, Frozen, or have children that are in love with Elsa or Anna, I hope you will appreciate the invitations I have to share with you today. My daughter turned seven yesterday and this year, she just had to have a Frozen birthday party.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I found an awesome tutorial online for these invitations. I heat embossed various sized snowflakes in clear on Cryogen White cardstock before inking it up with distress inks. Then I filled in with a few more snowflakes that were stamped in second generation ink. I used 2-inch cupcake toppers that I downloaded for $1.60 from Etsy for the image itself, threaded it with satin ribbon and popped it up with dimensionals.
I also used my Wink of Stella pen in clear to add shimmer to Elsa's dress.
Since we had multiple cupcake toppers to choose from in the one PDF file, I decided to create a variety of invitations using the same technique with different distress inks.
Supplies:
Invitation 1:
Cardstock: Cryogen White (Curious Metallics)
Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans
Ink: Versamark, Night of Navy (SU)
Other: Ranger Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder in Clear, SU Dimensionals, Satin Ribbon, Wink of Stella Pen in Clear, 2-inch Cupcake Toppers
Invitations 2 & 3:
Same as above, but substituted as follows:
Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, Salty Ocean
Ink: Versamark, Perfect Plum (SU)
Perfect invites! Toppings and ideas are really eye catching. My cousin is planning to hire one of the best San Francisco venues for her sister in law's pre wedding shoot. Asked me regarding the services and packages inclusive of areas covered. We also booked the same place for luncheon and bridal photo shoot of our close friend.
