Up, Up & Away...
To all my friends and followers, I feel like I owe you an apology for not posting any projects lately. We have certainly had a lot going on. First off, we adopted a puppy three weeks ago today from a rescue organization. Her name is Riley and she is a 17-week-old golden retriever / lab mix. We surprised the kids with an impromptu 7-hour drive to Charlotte, NC for "operation doggie retrieval" as my sister called it. Riley is doing really well adjusting to her new home and she's really great with the kids but having a very young puppy in our household has really made life crazy these last few weeks, especially when you add in a six-year-old on summer vacation and a two-year old who is potty training.
Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to dedicate to any crafty projects until just recently. Over the last two weeks, I have been making wedding invitations for a friend who lives across the street and today, we celebrated her son's 2nd birthday.
Here's the card I made for the birthday boy, using the hot4balloons stamp and dies from The Stamps of Life Die Hard Club. I just love how it turned out!!
