Tiddly Inks Design Team Call
Hi, friends!! Today, I'm very excited to share a card with you that I am submitting for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be selected for the Tiddly Inks Design Team.
For my design team project, I couldn't resist using the Light My Life image. It was the very first digi that I ever purchased from Tiddly Inks and it's still one of my top favorites. I will also enter this card in the current Tiddly Inks Challenge #138: Let's Hear it for the Boys and MarkerPop Challenge #49: Anything Goes.
I kept the color palette more masculine for the challenge by using navy, olive greens, and a kraft base. I created my own cloud background with distress inks. The top two layers and the lighthouse itself are popped up to give the card dimension.
Glossy accents give the lens and windows a glassy look and only a hint of Stickles adds a glittery shimmer to the sea. I can just picture this quirky little lighthouse in real life! Come on... how cool would it be to live in your very own lighthouse?
I hope my project inspires you to put your name in for the design team call... or at least encourages you to play along with this week's challenge. I had a lot of fun designing this card for you!
If you're not familiar with Tiddly Inks, you gotta check out the shop! You can even download some freebies or find a sweet deal in the bargain bin. The wide variety of digital images and clear stamp sets are absolutely adorable!
Also, you can see the pin that inspired my design here. If you have a few minutes, you can check out my other Tiddly Inks project as well as others colored with Copics.
Thanks for stopping by!!
