Thanks for Distress Inks & Polka Dots
Hi everyone! If you're looking for a quick and easy thank you, I have just the right card for you this week. The color combos are endless when you change out a couple of distress inks.
I secured the Whisper White card base to my craft mat with Post-It Tape before securing the Stampin' Up polka dot stencil to the card front with more Post-It Tape. You can never have enough Post-It Tape. This stuff works great!!! With the stencil secure, I inked on a variety of distress inks (Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Tumbled Glass, and Dusty Concord, in that order). The stencil peels right off when you remove the Post-It Tape.
For the sentiment, I ran a die from Taylored Expressions through my Big Kick three times on Strawberry Slush cardstock and stacked them together with my Zig 2-Way Glue Pen to add some dimension. I felt like it needed something else to make the sentiment stand out so I added a vellum word bubble behind it and some stickles to the die cut.
