Deepest Sympathy
Over the weekend, I was able to get a couple of cards done when my husband took both of the kids grocery shopping and to the library. How lucky I am!!! It's the first weekend in a long time that I had a few hours in the afternoon to dedicate to my crafty hobby.
It was an opportunity to try out some of my new stencils with distress inks. It's CAS and rather easy to do too. I used Tumbled Glass and Dusty Concord to create the chevron background. The Deepest Sympathy Plain Jane sentiment from Verve is inked in SU Wisteria Wonder on Whisper White cardstock and layered on top of Perfect Plum. The mini flower dies from The Stamps of Life are cut from SU cardstock in Soft Sky and Elegant Eggplant and popped up with SU Stampin' Dimensionals. A DIY white enamel dot and some purple Stickles finish off the embellishments.
