A Perfect Mother's Day for Strawberry Pickin'
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I'm a little late getting this post up because we had such a wonderful day today. My daughter (age 6) decided she was going to make me breakfast in bed this morning. Those two slices of toast that she made all by herself were delicious! Both kids made me a few art projects. I also got an Origami Owl necklace and locket that had two personalized plates inside with the kids names on it.
We also decided to go strawberry picking at College Run Farms since the weather was absolutely beautiful for a ferry ride and to be outdoors. The crop was finally ready and we ended up picking (3) gallons. My mom and Rich also joined us and we had lots of fun! My son (age 2) sure had his share of strawberries out in the field. Can you tell by the evidence all over his face? We finished off the day with delicious homemade strawberry ice cream. So what did you all do for Mother's Day?
I do have two Mother's Day cards to share with you today. I found the inspiration for these cards on Pinterest. I used two different paper pads - Beautiful Life and Sweet Girl - from Echo Park for the floral backdrop.
