You Have My Heart - SP Color Combo Week

I can't believe it's 2014! SP and Company is kicking off the new year with a Color Combo Week. I'm happy to share my card using various shades of pinks with a little bit of teal thrown in. Isn't Cupid Bear by Tina Wenke simply adorable?

Now that Christmas is behind us, I don't feel so bad moving on to Valentine's Day. I created the background with Hearts on String and stamped it as a second generation in Calypso Coral ink. The heart cut-out and the You have my HEART sentiment both came from the Zig Zag Hearts & Sentiments mini stamp set which coordinates perfectly with the Stitched Journaling Shape & Arrows Die Tools.

I colored the teal heart with Copics and added a small button in Seafoam Mist. To incorporate more teal, I inked the edges and stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana. White gel pen stitches frame out the card and a few Stickles give Cupid's wings a little bling!
