Winter Wonderland

This has been the perfect week here in Virginia for Winter Wonderland Week at SP and Company. As I am writing this blog post, it's snowing outside and we just learned that schools are closed tomorrow. We are keeping our fingers crossed that there will be enough snow to build a snowman in the morning. We got a snowman kit for Christmas two years ago that's been sitting in the garage still waiting to be used. My husband who is originally from Canada jokes how a few inches of snow will shutdown the entire state.  As a state employee myself, I appreciate the welcome snow day.  :)

For my card this week, I used the Snowman and Snowdog stamp by Tina Wenke. The snow drifts in the background were cut with my Spellbinders Borderabilities dies. The sentiment, from the Decorating Snowman set (also by Tina Wenke), is stamped in SU Cherry Cobbler ink.

Here's a close-up of the main image, colored with Copics:

Don't forget to link up your creations for Winter Wonderland Week. If you live in an area affected by the Polar Vortex, I hope you get out and enjoy the snow... but also keep safe and warm.
