Elf Crossing Ahead
Since it's Easy Christmas Week over at SP&Co, I have another card to share with you that demonstrates a new technique using artist's chalk. I've had this small Sizzix embossing folder in my stash for a while. I embossed the elf onto a small piece of Cryogen White cardstock and then applied chalk to it with a Q-tip. It's secured to the front with dimensionals.
I hope you have an opportunity to play along with us this week! Make sure to link up your creations to the SP Blog. Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
SP&Co: Penguin Skating - Tina Wenke Stamp Set; Stitched Journaling Shape and Arrows Die Tools
Paper: SU Real Red; Cryogen White
Ink: SU Real Red
Other: Washi Tape, White Gel Pen, Chalk
For the background, I alternated various lengths of green and red washi tape and added white gel pen stitch lines along the red perimeter. The "North Pole" sentiment is from the SP&Co Penguin Skating stamp set - Tina Wenke Collection which also coordinates with the Stitched Journaling Shape and Arrows Die Tools. The sentiment is stamped in SU Real Red to coordinate with the cardstock layers.
