Cheer for Birthdays in December

Hello, everyone! It's Anything Goes week over at SP and Company. Here is my take on another birthday card using the Gill Roberts Cheerleader stamp. I changed it up this time by using the Certified Awesome stamp and die tools for the sentiment.

My neighbor is a Cheer Mom for her teenage daughter's cheerleading group, Fame. I've been making cheerleading birthday cards for her for a while but it's nice to change it up a bit so you don't get bored with the same design all the time. It's also the first card I've made using the Certified Awesome stamp set. This is such a great set! I don't know why it's taken me so long to use it!

This is a topper card so the image hangs over the top fold of the card by 1-inch. I framed the cheerleader image with silver striped foiled cardstock and added some white gel pen stitch marks. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and SU Real Red inks and then die cut with the Certified Awesome die tools.

Of course, I colored the image with Copics:

Skin: E-00/11
Hair: E-53/55/57
Outfit: R-24/27/29; C-3/5
Pom-Poms: R-22/24

Don't be afraid to try new card designs with the same image. You can see my other cheerleading birthday cards here and here.  Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by!
