New Releases are Here!

It's new release week at SP and Company!  Make sure to check out the newest goodies in the store.  This week, I chose to showcase Erin Making Valentines, a brand new stamp in the Tina Wenke Collection, because she's super cute and also very versatile.

I actually created this card a couple weeks ago... the same week I made my daughter's Halloween costume and the Christmas handmade gift boxes... so needless to say, I had a bit of a time coming up with a Valentine themed project to go along with this image.

What I love about Erin is --- she can be used for other occasions --- for a loved one who needs a little pick-me-up, or just to bring a smile to the face of a friend or co-worker.  The sentiment, stamped in SU Early Espresso ink, is from the SP&Co In Love Emma stamp set. I'm really happy with the way this card turned out and I love the purple and green color combo together with the kraft paper and twine.  It's not your traditional pink and red!

So what's your favorite color combo to use on projects?  Please leave a comment below. Also, don't forget to enter to win the giveaway on this week's Sunday Scoop!

Did you notice that the hearts background is de-bossed - using the reverse side of my embossing folder? Two SP In Color! coconut oil buttons threaded with twine and white gel pen stitch marks finish off the card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!
