Pretty Pumpkin Gift Bags & Tags
I found these lovely plain kraft gift bags in my gi-normous box of recycled gift bags last night and decided to pretty them up. Plain turned into pretty fabulous, in less than ten minutes. I wanted the bags to coordinate with the tags I had made previously.
The tags are ordinary Avery manila office shipping tags. The ultimate grunge background was stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then, I sponged on Spiced Marmalade, Shabby Shutters, and Vintage Photo distress inks for a resist-embossed look.
I used the SP&Co Polaroid Frames die tools for the tag focal point and added a small chevron pumpkin using the Stamps of Life Pumkins2Cut stamp set and coordinating die tools. The small pumpkin is stamped in Spiced Marmalade and Walnut Stain distress inks, and then secured to the frame with dimensionals.
The bags were stamped with the larger polka-dot pumpkin from the same stamp set. The "thanks" sentiment throughout was a free mini stamp that I received as a Stamps of Life monthly kit club member. I used Memento Tuxedo Black and SU's Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks on the gift bags.
The bags literally took me less than 10 minutes to finish two of them. I'm really pleased with the way they turned out.
