Flip for Birthdays
Have I told you how much I LOVE my new Sizzix Flip-It Framelits set from the Stamps of Life? They make creating a card super easy and quick! Just throw some designer paper into the mix and voila! you have an assortment of cards in a matter of minutes! The LOTV "Wishing You a Magical Birthday" circular sentiment is perfect for girly birthday cards.
Here are a few birthday cards I made over the last two weeks. This one was the first I made for my daughter's 6th birthday using the Papillon Potpourri butterfly set and Melon Mambo coordinating ink an cardstock:
Last weekend, in between packing for a trip to NJ and traveling all weekend, I whipped up two more birthday cards for cousins and nieces in Canada. I love how you can completely change the look with a few sheets of paper and various embellishments.
The sentiment and butterfly on the card above uses Rich Razzleberry ink and cardstock from Stampin' Up. The paper is from a princess themed stack in my stash.
My third card uses an Old Olive cardstock base with coordinating ink and a pink flamingo button from SP&Co. to bring out the pink foil swirls in the paper. The scalloped and dotted circle framelits came with the set.
If you want to order any handmade greeting cards like the ones in this post, let me know. Christmas, birthday, winter snowflakes are a few I already have in mind...
