Good Witch or Bad Witch?

Hi everyone!  Fall is underway -- even though here in Virginia, it's still 80-90 degrees some days -- and the holidays will be here before we know it.  We just finished the second week of Kindergarten, the stores are already pushing Halloween candy, and the school sent home a Yankee Candle fundraiser for Christmas!

So to get into the mood, I created my first Halloween card using the SP&Co Halloween Girl stamp set and my Cheery Lynn Designs step card die.

I substituted this stamp set for my August monthly kit because I didn't have any Halloween stamps.  I thought she was cute and the set has lots of potential with the included bat, moon, and sentiments.

Here's a close-up of the image, colored with my Copics:

E-00,11,31,33,35,37,50
YR-12,16,18,20,21
C-00,1,3,5,7,9
V-000,12,15,17
G-20,21,24,28
R-20
BG-10

The step card die made this so simple to create!  The die not only cuts the card base with score lines, but it also includes dies for the various layers.

The purple side layers are dry embossed with a circle pattern.  The sentiment layer and purple mat behind the image are inked with Dusty Concord distress ink.  The bats are secured with pop dots to give added dimension.  A few strands of twine finish off the front.

The inside is also inked with distress ink and I thought adding a bat to the inside would tie everything together.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges and also posting it to SP&Co's theme week for Anything Goes.
