Festive Flurries
I hosted my first Stampin' Up workshop this week where I created this Festive Flurries greeting card. It was so much fun crafting with friends. Often times, I create my projects in the wee hours of the night after the kids go to bed. It was nice for a change to do some projects with others who also have an interest in crafting.
I first stamped the sentiment in Island Indigo ink on Whisper White card stock. After the ink dried, I stamped the snowflakes in Versamark ink and then heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. When I sponged on the various colors, using the lightest ink first, the ink resisted the embossed snowflakes to give you this beautiful look.
Clear rhinestones added to the center of each snowflake give the card added dimension and some bling.
Thanks for stopping by!
